I Found Myself Pregnant After Becoming an Omega 08
Chapter 8: Meet Me in the Woods
He Jiao entered the classroom as the bell rang.
As she walked through the door, she glanced in the direction
of Ji Yu. She found that he was looking down unconcerned, and, since there was
no target for her simmering eyes, she had no choice but to endure her anger and return to her
seat.
As soon as she sat down, a classmate elbowed her and asked
in a low voice, "Hey, Jiao Jiao, what's the situation with your
brother?"
He Jiao was angry, and snapped back in a bad tone:
"What does it have to do with you?"
The classmate unexpectedly hit a wall, and was a little
embarrass: "Forget it then."
He Jiao pursed her lips, very upset.
She had told her brother that Ji Yu had ideas about herself,
but she didn’t expect that her brother would not believe her at all—because,
although two Omegas can fall in love, they can never be together. Both Omegas will
go through estrus periods, at which point they will instinctively seek out an
Alpha or Beta for pleasure. As such, romantic relationships between Omegas can
easily collapse.
Besides, Ji Yu did not wash off her brother’s mark. Under
such circumstances, he would not fall in love with other people, and so her
brother said that Ji Yu was just lying to her.
Not only that, but Big Brother also force her to calm down,
telling her not to find fault with Ji Yu anymore, and to just stay away from
him.
But they meet every day, how can she be calm?
Moreover, Ji Yu had relied on the 100% pheromone matching to
seduce her brother yet again, so how could she calm down?
Once upon a time, she was so happy that her brother had finally
found a partner.
She was so happy that she actively invited Ji Yu to transfer
to her class, saying that from now on she would cover for him and share with
him all the good things.
However, now she hates Ji Yu so much that she even wishes
for him to die.
After what had happened, he has become a thorn in her eye, a
sting in her flesh.
Just seeing him makes her very uncomfortable.
"Since you hate him so much, why don't you just let him
change classes?" Someone who knew about the matter on the forum began
asking after class.
"That's not what he wanted."
He Jiao frowned as she cleans up her desk in an angry
manner, "Unless he quits, he doesn't want to change classes. I have to monitor
him and not give him any chance to contact my brother. He is really a chicken thief.*
He even managed to run into my brother
in the last swimming class. It's so annoying!"
---
In the corner of the classroom.
Ji Yu lowered his eyes and study the college exam practice questions
without any distractions.
The content of the college entrance exam in this
world is the same as that of his original world, and the textbooks are also identical. Even the examination process in Long Cheng city is exactly the same as in his
original city.
The examination process is comprised of a so-called [3+2
system.] Students are required to test
in three compulsory main courses—one of which includes mathematics, and two
elective courses of their own choosing.
The original owner had physics and chemistry as part of his
main courses, which were the same as those of Ji Yu.
The similarities in so many details gave Ji Yu a sense of
familiarity and belonging, and, at the same time, confirmed that this might
really be a parallel world.
So far, he found that except for the name of the city,
everything else is the same as his original world. He felt as if he was still
in his original world, just with a change of identity.
"Bam."
Suddenly someone slammed on his table, inches away from Ji
Yu.
Ji Yu looked blankly at the crooked lines on his draft
paper, and slowly raised his head to look at the boy who slapped his desk.
The boy, whose name Ji Yu couldn't remember, arched over the
desk with a smile: "Ji Yu, are you doing the practice questions? You can
actually do these questions?"
Then he said, "Still studying after class is over, you sure
are working hard. Isn’t the first test next week? Ah? Obviously, you should be
holding on to your golden thigh. You should be out there working hard on how to
trap that person. Do you really still have time to sit here and do practice
problems?"
Ji Yu put down his pen, his thoughts were interrupted, and his
temper was stirred: "Do I have any grudges with you?"
"No, I don't particularly care about you."
Ji Yu nodded: "Whether or not you care is in your heart.
Also, there’s no need to hog my desk like a pig on cabbage, or do you
have some special feelings for the desk?"
"You!"
The boy stared and stopped smiling. Embarrassed and angry at
the mocking gazes of the people around him, he pushed on Ji Yu's desk harder,
"What happened if I pushed on your desk?"
Before Ji Yu could retort, he heard a "patter" and
something fell on the ground.
Ji Yu lowered his head and glanced at his mobile phone.
Quickly picking it up, he saw that the screen did not break,
and the phone could still be turned on. However, as soon as he turned it on, it
showed more than a dozen missed calls from the nanny.
Seeing as he can’t handles business with the ‘sour-mouth’** hovering
in front of his desk, Ji Yu immediately got up and walked out as he dialed
back.
"Hey, what's the matter? My phone was muted, and I
didn't hear your calls."
The nanny: "Little Yu Zhou suddenly had a fever at around
8 o'clock. He refused to drink any milk or sleep, and just kept crying. I tried
to call you, but you never answer, so I took him to the hospital on my own.
Now, we’ve just got home."
Ji Yu said nervously, "What's wrong with him? Is he
sick?"
"The doctor said that Little Yu Zhou was suffering from
pheromone hunger."
Ji Yu was confused, but said: "I'll be back soon."
After speaking, Ji Yu rushed to the teacher’s office and
asked for leave from the head teacher.
When he returned to the classroom, he found that his desk had
fallen down, books and pens were scattered all over the place, and there was even
a footprint on one of the test papers.
The culprit was sitting in a desk at the front of the class,
and was looking out the windows with an innocent appearance as if he didn’t know
a thing.
Ji Yu took a deep breath, packed his things hastily, then
walked to the front desk and stood still, staring at the boy silently.
The boy in the front desk finally noticed Ji Yu staring:
"Why are you looking at me?"
Ji Yu smiled at him, then suddenly kicked his desk over.
Amidst the screams in the class, Ji Yu ran out without looking back.
—
Ji Yu hurried back home, and ran directly towards the baby's
room before he could even catch his breath.
In the baby room, the nanny held something like an oxygen
cylinder in her left hand, and her right hand pressed the transparent oxygen
mask on Little Yu Zhou’s face, as if she was helping Little Yu Zhou breathe.
Little Yu Zhou shrank in the nanny’s arms, not noisy or
acting up, though his eyes were red with tears. After seeing Ji Yu, he pitifully
stretched out his tiny hands to hug him, while calling out something vaguely.
Ji Yu was anxious to check Little Yu Zhou’s situation, so he
didn't hear what the child said, and instead said to him: "Dad is here.
Dad is here, be good, okay, good."
He then asked the nanny, "What are you giving
him?"
"It's a type of medical pheromone, prescribed by the
doctor, which can make Little Yu Zhou feel better."
Ji Yu frowned. He hadn't heard of such a thing before, so he
said, "Where is his medical record? Let me take a look."
Then……
Although the world is different, the doctor's notes are the
same scribbled mess, and Ji Yu can't understand any of it at all.
He closed the medical record booklet and picked up a brand-new
bottle of medical pheromones. He could not understand the ingredients behind
this medicine, but understood that the purpose of it was mainly to comfort
children suffering from pheromone hunger.
"What is pheromone hunger?" Ji Yu asked the nanny,
"What exactly did the doctor say?" He took out his mobile phone and
started to look up ‘pheromone hunger.’
Compiling the descriptions from the nanny and the
information from Baidu Encyclopedia on the Internet, Ji Yu understood that this
illness was similar to "skin hunger." 3*
Like skin hunger, pheromone hunger is also caused by the
lack of parental company. The difference is that children with this disease do
not need parental touch, but rather they need parental pheromone.
Special scent, also known as chemical messaging hormone, is
secreted by an individual’s body, and can be detected via the sense of smell. This
kind of chemical scent exists in all animals, and is most widely known as
"pheromone". 4*
"For example, some children must be covered in their
mother's clothes in order to fall asleep." The nanny said, "Because
clothes with the mother's scent can give them a sense of security."
Ji Yu raised his eyebrows and looked at the list of unfamiliar
terminologies on his phone, "So Little Yu Zhou is feeling insecure? Can I
cover him with my clothes?"
The nanny shook her head.
She looked at Ji Yu and said very tactfully: "What he
lacks is your partner’s... uh, that is, the pheromone of his other parent. The
doctor diagnosed that Little Yu Zhou has been lacking this pheromone for a long
time. He’s supposed to be used to it by now, but was somehow suddenly
stimulated by it in the recent period, which led to his illness."
Ji Yu looked down and thought for a while, as if thinking of
something.
He raised his head to look at the nanny, blinked and said:
"Yesterday, I was swimming in the same swimming pool as Little Yu Zhou’s
mother. Could this be the reason?"
The nanny: "..."
Only a ghost would believe you!
There must have been something more intimate going on in that
swimming pool to leave such a strong scent, otherwise, how could it have
stimulated Little Yu Zhou?!
However, she can't say it straight out. The situation in her
employer’s home is obviously very complicated.
She nodded softly: "Maybe it is."
Ji Yu looked down and thought for a while, and felt that
this really was the case.
Yesterday, he and He Jiao had swam in the same pool. After
returning home to Little Yu Zhou in the evening, the child had suddenly changed
from the usual peaceful and quiet appearance into an especially sticky bun that
kept holding onto him and refused to let go.
Ji Yu suddenly felt enlightened to the problem, but the required
solution confounded him yet again.
Not to mention the fact that he just swore to He Jiao to
stay away from her, even if he were willing to be slap in the face for the sake
of Little Yu Zhou, she would definitely not be willing to help.
She probably wouldn’t want to see this... child that is a stain
on her life.
Ji Yu is a little worried.
What should he do? Swim class is only once every two weeks,
and he can't get in touch with He Jiao at other times. But this is her own
child after all, shouldn’t it be okay to ask for some of the clothes that she
wears?
“Wuwu,” Seeing as how Ji Yu didn’t hold him anymore, Little
Yu Zhou waved his arms a little aggrieved.
Looking at the oxygen mask that was almost the entire size of the
little guy's face, Ji Yu felt very distressed.
He walked over, squatted beside Little Yu Zhou, reached out
his hand and touched his little guy’s head, "You behave. Dad will find a
way to make you well soon, and you won’t feel uncomfortable anymore, ah. Be
good."
"Yiwu." Little Yu Zhou caught Ji Yu's clothes.
Ji Yu squeezed his little fleshy hand, and asked the nanny:
"I only need to get a few pieces of his mother's clothes, right?"
The nanny nodded: "It's best to let his mother come to
hug him and accompany him often."
The nanny carefully observes her employer’s face before
adding, "But if you just have the clothes, that is still better than the medical
pheromones. At least it can make Little Yu Zhou feel more comfortable during
this period of time. It’s also possible that the stress reaction will
disappear, and his illness will be cured.”
With these words from the nanny, how could Ji Yu not give it
a try?
Not wanting any further delay, Ji Yu hugged Little Yu Zhou and
hurried back to school.
He doesn't have He Jiao's phone number, but he also can’t
just go up and talk to her in public either. This matter cannot be discussed in
a place with other people around, and can only be spoken in private.
In that case...
Ji Yu looked at the small note in his hand, and wrote:
[I will wait for you in the woods after school, and you must
come before eight o'clock in the evening.]
Picking it up and looking at it, he found that it looked
like a date.
Scratching it out and throwing it away, Ji Yu wrote another
one:
[I have something to discuss with you, it is related to XYZ.
I hope you can come to the woods before 8 o'clock, I will wait for you at the
thickest Banyan tree. And also, about what happened this morning, I want to
apologize to you.]
This time it should be fine. He had intentionally
abbreviated the name of Little (Xiao) Yu Zhou, so that even if it is picked up by
someone else, it will not reveal anything.
Although if she really wants him to drop out...
If he has to quit, then just quit, ba. Anyway, he can learn
well wherever he goes.
Ji Yu folded up the small note, and walked by He Jiao’s desk.
When the people around were not paying attention, he used the speed of being
single for eighteen years and stuffed the small note into her pencil case right
in front of her.
He Jiao: "??"
At this moment she was stunned, but Ji Yu had already
returned to his seat. She looked at him and blinked blankly, then frowned, and
looked back at the little note.
One minute later.
He Jiao: [Picture] Look at this, brother! Ji Yu just gave it
to me.
He Jiao: I said he was interested in me. If you still don't
believe it, he actually asked me to go to the woods after school. Now do you
believe me?
He Zhou: ...
He Jiao: But why did he mention that kid? What does that kid
have to do with me?
He Zhou: ...
He Zhou: I see. Don't go, I will take care of it.

The author has something to say:
He Zhou: I heard raindrops falling on the green grass. 5*

Hahahaha! How could he Google anything about pheromones and somehow miss any indicators about "alpha" or "omega" parent and not keep on Googleing!?! Ahhh!
ReplyDeleteOh well! *Popcorn Munch* This will be funny.
BAHAHAHAHAHAAA oh my god that is so funnyyy~
ReplyDeleteThnx for the chappie~ ヾ(≧▽≦*)o
