I Found Myself Pregnant After Becoming An Omega 16
Chapter 16: I knew it. You like me.
When Ji Yu looked up, he met a face with a kind smile.
He froze for a second,1 before
saying: "Reporting to teacher, I just wrote very quickly. But... a teacher
can't interfere with the students during the exam, right?"
The male teacher's expression suddenly stagnated, and the smile on
his face instantly disappeared. By the time he managed to sort out his face,
the corners of his lips were already downcast, and his eyes, hidden behind his
glasses, were undecipherable.
Ji Yu continues: "If you have any questions, you should wait
until the exam is over."
The male teacher adjusted his glasses and said in a low voice,
“You’re right.”
After speaking, he straightened up, raised his eyebrows to looked
at Ji Yu, and then at Ji Yu's test papers. Finally, he nodded pretentiously before
returning to the podium.
After that, the male teacher approaches the female teacher and
began discussing something. The two of them raised their eyes to look at Ji Yu
from time to time.
Ji Yu thought that the male teacher was acting a little weird, but
he didn't care too much.
In his past life, many teachers have been amazed by his speed at
answering test questions. If it weren't for the fact that both the college
entrance examination policy and the school’s rules disallowed handing in the
test early, he would have been the first to leave the exam room.
When Ji Yu finally put down his pen, there were still fifty
minutes left before the end of the exam, and some students hadn't even begun to
write their composition yet.
At the sight of this, the two teachers from before moved to a
corner and began discussing something quietly.
However, after their discussion, they did not approach Ji Yu
again, but continued to monitor the exam. When the bell rang they collected the
test papers, and the male teacher call Ji Yu outside for a talk.
As soon as Ji Yu left, the quiet classroom suddenly became noisy.
"Hey, why was he called away by the teacher?"
"I heard the teacher said that he had answered all the
questions too quickly."
"Ah? He is the worst ranked 2, how could he have answered so fast?
Did he know the answers in advance?"
“Didn’t he just copy He Zhou's test paper? I glanced at it when I
was collecting the test papers just now, and he wrote quite a lot." 3
He Zhou twisted his eyebrows, slapped the pen on the table, and
said coldly: "He didn't copy my test paper."
All the sounds of discussion abruptly stopped. 4
The other examinees looked at each other, and, although they were
silent, their eyes were glowing with gossip, even brighter than before.
Originally, they were only discussing the subject of Ji Yu
cheating. Unexpectedly, He Zhou actually spoke up and help to defend Ji Yu.
This reminded everyone of the pictures they saw on the forum that night, and
the expression on their faces suddenly became more excited.
They packed up their belongings quickly, thinking about the latest
gossip, but, before they could leave, they unexpectedly saw Ji Yu came back in.
Everyone's hands stopped, and all eyes were cast on Ji Yu.
Ji Yu’s face didn't change color, and he calmly returned to his
desk to pack.
He Zhou couldn't
help asking: "What's the situation?"
The classroom
quieted down instantly.
Everyone
unanimously slowed down their speed, and those who had already finished packing
were in no hurry to leave.
Ji Yu shook his
head: "It's nothing. I finished the test a little fast, so the teacher was
just surprised."
Song Cheng leaned
in and said, "It's just that?"
Ji Yu replied, "The teacher said that he would talk to me later
when all the exams are over."
After speaking, he picked up his things, and, as if he couldn't
see the strange gazes of the people around him, turned his head to look at He
Zhou, "Are we going to your place to get those things?"
He Zhou nodded: "Okay."
Ji Yu left first, and He Zhou followed behind him.
Not long after they left, the examination room was buzzing once
more. Soon, words quickly spread to the students in the other examination rooms,
as more and more 5 curious students
abruptly got dragged into the gossip mill. 6
The two walked side by side on the road.
He Zhou looked down at Ji Yu's expression: "You shouldn't have
said that in the classroom. Saying that will only make them think you really
did something illegal."
Ji Yu smiled: "It doesn't matter."
"They will spread it all over the Internet."
Ji Yu still laughed: "What I want is for them to spread it
indiscriminately."
He Zhou twisted his eyebrows: "What are you thinking about?"
Ji Yu looked towards the front with a
relaxed expression: "I not thinking about anything. Everything is just moving
along by itself. Sooner or later, my test results will become the focus of attention.
For these things to come now is a bit ahead of schedule, but that’s all."
As he licked his lips, he suddenly
turned his head to look at He Zhou, his eyes brightened, "Didn't you say you
want to compete? There must be a prize."
He Zhou: "What prize do you
want?"
Ji Yu blurted out: "If I get
first place, you must promise me one thing."
After Ji Yu finished speaking, he felt
that both his words and gaze were too overt and awkward for an opening, “I
haven't figured out what the specifics are yet, but don't worry, it won't be
too much, and it won't affect you."
He Zhou's tone was certain: "You
have already figured out what you want."
"Yes." Ji Yu didn't conceal
it, and directly responded, "Then I will ask, do you agree?"
"Agreed." He Zhou readily replied.
"What about you? What
prize do you want?"
"Same as you."
Ji Yu was stunned for a minute, and felt that this sounded somewhat
ambiguous.
He raised his head and look into He Zhou's eyes, only to be met
with a piece of inky darkness. Shifting his sight away, Ji Yu noticed the
corners of the other party's raised lips and the masculine Adam’s apple.
He still remembered the sight of that Adam's apple, stained with
sweat, sliding up and down.
Very sexy and attractive. 7
... Ah, he really wanted to have that same kind of Adam's apple.
While his heart was still coveting, Ji Yu saw He Zhou's odd gaze, so
he quickly withdrawn his own line of sight: "Alright, it’s settled."
He Zhou noticed the other party's red ears and just silently
smiled. He spoke with a hint of teasing: "En, we'll do it like that."
—
Through the shocked gazes of countless people whose jaws have
dropped to the ground, the two people walked side by side until they arrived at
the Alpha dormitory.
Ji Yu stopped at the door, and He Zhou went in to talk with Dorm Manager
Uncle. After a while, He Zhou came out and asked in a low voice, “Do you want
to come in?”
Ji Yu asked in confusion, "Can I
go in?" 8
He Zhou said: "Of course you can."
9
After speaking, he directly took Ji
Yu's arm, led him to the elevator, and pressed to go up.
At this moment, the exam had just
ended, and it was exactly dinner time. Inside the dormitory was empty and there
were not many people.
While waiting for the elevator, Ji Yu
took a look around and glanced at the Dorm Manager’s Office. He did not expect
that the old uncle in there would be looking back at himself. Their eyes met,
and the old uncle gave an ambiguous smile.
Ji Yu: “……”
He froze, and then suddenly seemed to realize something.
--Currently, he is an Omega.
Although he is a
man, he is still an Omega.
In this world,
Omega belongs under the oppression of Alphas and Betas. Getting marry, giving
birth, and being a mother are the roles of an Omega.
For an Omega to enter an Alpha’s dormitory was the equivalent of a
schoolgirl entering the boy’s dorm in his previous world.
There was nothing vague about this type of behavior, but rather a
complete public exposé of their relationship.
Ji Yu was silent.
His time in this world was too short, and he wasn’t able to
completely assimilate into his new role. He suddenly felt like a big headache
was coming,
The elevator door finally opens.
He Zhou entered first, but saw Ji Yu still just standing there,
“Why aren’t you coming in?”
Ji Yu: “……”
Ji Yu suddenly wanted to know what He Zhou is thinking about, and whether
or not this is an attempt at targeting him. After all, although the dorm rooms may
not be as good as the bedroom at home, it is still an extremely personal and intimate
place.
Now that things have reached this point, Ji Yu took a deep breath,
and ultimately stepped inside. 10
Anyhow, they’re both men.
Based on appearances, such differences as being tall or short, big
or small, should have no bearing on the nature of their relationship…right?
The most essential thing is to leave as soon as he gets he what he
came for.
Thinking like that, Ji Yu embarrassment finally dissipated.
Lowering his eyes, he quietly and obediently
followed He Zhou into room 607.
When the door was
pushed open, a familiar smelling pheromone flooded his nasal cavity.
Ji Yu rubbed his nose, still adapting to it.
Before his eyes is a double room,
divided into two fully separate sides, complete with a bed and a table each.
One bed is messy, with socks strewn
about in a chaotic jumble on top of a tangled cover, while the other bed is
much more tidy, with the cover neatly folded like a block of tofu.
Ji Yu merely swept his eyes around casually, when his gaze was unconsciously
attracted to the dirty laundry basket on the ground.
Inside were clothes that he had seen
before, the basketball uniform that He Zhou had worn. Just a bit of thinking is
enough to figure out just how much pheromone is contained within.
This is it!
Ji Yu raises his head and met He Zhou’s smiling eyes.
Ji Yu rapidly blinks, feeling somewhat unusually flushed.
“I…”
Ji Yu swallowed, not knowing how to ask for the clothes.
“Well?”
He Zhou walked to his desk, took out an object from the drawer,
and stuffed it into Ji Yu’s hand: “Here, the perfume you wanted.”
Ji Yu unconsciously took it, only to feel the ice-cold touch of a
large bottle.
He lowered his gaze and saw the words “Hao
Ran” written in large characters on a bottle of floral-scented mosquito spray. 11
Ji Yu: “……”
He Zhou looked at
Ji Yu, held back a snicker, “Like it?”
Ji Yu: “……”
Like my ass! 13
If it weren’t for the fact that he still needs the clothes, Ji Yu
would’ve immediately rolled his eyes at He Zhou already.
Nevertheless, he did not really come
here for any perfume. The important thing here is to take back He Zhou’s
clothes. It doesn’t matter whether he is Little Yu Zhou’s biological father or
not, what’s important is that Little Yu Zhou recognizes his pheromone.
Ji Yu took a deep breath: “Thank you. I like it a lot.”
He Zhou was dumbfounded for a moment, and this time he couldn’t
hold back. He lifted the corner of his mouth and began to laugh.
Once again Ji Yu draws in a deep breath, the smile on his face was
getting harder to maintain.
It took a long time before He Zhou stopped laughing, he looked at
Ji Yu: “You’re not here just for the perfume, right?”
Ji Yu was stunned: “You knew?”
Originally, he was still in a dilemma about how to ask for He Zhou’s clothes. After all, from He Zhou’s perspective, Little Yu Zhou was a bit of a sore spot, a evil spawn born after the original owner give him a green hat.
Something that he would definitely not want to see ever
again.
Ji Yu wanted He Zhou to lend a helping
hand, but he didn’t want to mention Little Yu Zhou incase it jab at He Zhou’s
sore spot.
In the end, He Zhou have already unexpectedly guessed it.
Moreover, his expression did not appear to be one of rejection, but rather a willingness to help.
This couldn’t get any better!
“En, I knew.” He Zhou looked at Ji Yu with smiling eyebrows.
The tip of Ji Yu’s eyebrows raised with joy: “Then…”
Ji Yu cast his eyes on the basketball jersey in the laundry
basket, and raises his hand to point at them. However, before he could even
extend his index finger, his hand was suddenly pulled.
His feet staggered and he fell forward.
He had prepared to hit the floor, but,
unexpectedly, he fell into a firm yet broad and warm embrace.
Ji Yu had just recovered from an
illness and had a weak body. His forehead knocks against He Zhou’s chest muscle and he
became dizzy. In a stupor, he heard a low laugh from He Zhou.
“I knew it. You like me.”

TN:
1.
愣了愣 [lèng le lèng]: to froze for a split second due to shocked.
2. 倒数第一 [dàoshǔ dì yī]: lit. the number one if you
count backwards, ie. the bottommost place; the worst.
3. 满 [mǎn]: Full;
satisfactory. I wasn’t sure how much is considered “satisfactory” or “full” so
we’ll just say a lot…
4. 一顿 [yi dun]: a
meal; to stop for a while; take a break.
5. The
word used here means “a pile/a bunch.” I believed it refers to “some,” so it
became “more and more”
6. 八卦的路上来: Tbh,
I’m not fully sure about this. Google translate it as “road to gossip,” which
kinda makes sense, but it’s still a bit confusing. Especially with 八卦 (eight diagram/maze
array?) For a second there, I thought I was in a cultivation novel… +.+
7. The
word used here is 撩人 [liao
ren] which literally means to tease the man (attractive) lol.
8. 不能进去吗? (lit. cannot
enter ma?): Since there’s no object we’ll assume JY is talking about himself,
and also the negative doesn’t make sense.
9.
Again, no object in sentence, assume it refers to JY.
10. 口气 [kǒu qì]
(mouth gas): bad breath; tone of voice. It’s included as part of “taking a deep
breath,” presumably through the mouth.
11. “你什么?”
(What are you?) I’m not sure what that’s asking for or who is even talking so
we’ll go with a generic “well.”
12.
Presumably the name of the mosquito spray.
13.
我喜欢你个大头鬼!(I like it you big headed ghost!): Essentially
the same as ‘I believed in you ghost.’ An expletive/scold that decry disbelief.

Lyrus: Woot another update! In the future I may have to cut the length of long chapters into two, just so that I can have regular updates. I didn't want to have to become a chapter cutting slag, but alas, each chapter are quite long and time-consuming, and you guy's appetite are insatiable. lol
Let me know if you don't like that or if there's any problem.
Thanks for reading.
.
Thanks so much for the chapter! This is hilarious 🤣
ReplyDeleteBwuhahaha! It's a big misunderstanding. Thanks for the chapter
