I Found Myself Pregnant After Becoming An Omega 17

Chapter 17: HeHeHe

The atmosphere suddenly froze.

Ji Yu’s brain became blank.

He Zhou’s words were like a bomb, so explosive that Ji Yu didn’t even know what kind of luck he had. 1 He was so shocked that he completely overlooked the fact that he was still laying on top of a man’s chest.

He could never have imagined that one day, he himself would be the accuse of liking another man.

Saying that he liked men?

Isn’t that just insane?

“You just said that you knew what now?” Ji Yu rubbed his ears, doubting if he had heard wrongly.

He Zhou lowers his eyes and observes the person nestling on his chest.

The red lips, white skin, and raven hair are all part of the familiar appearance that He Zhou knew well. However, they now have all taken on a much different expression and temperament. Particularly those pair of eyes, so clear and distinct, that even in moments of confusion, they appear like ripples of water, shimmering in crystal-like radiance. 2

“I said that I know that you liked me.” He Zhou repeated his words with certainty.

He has always been proud, but he is never groundlessly conceited.

He Zhou had considered this matter very carefully. In the end, he concluded that Ji Yu did indeed like him, and have a very good impression of him.

First, the pheromone matching between them was at 100%. Even with the neck collar inhibitor, it is still very easy for the both of them to be drawn toward each other.3

Even things like ‘love at first sight’ is not at all surprising.

Second, He Zhou had marked Ji Yu himself. Even if the soul had changed, the new Ji Yu would still be affected by the mark on his body, and would yearn and admire the Alpha that had marked him, which is He Zhou.

Twice before, when He Zhou deliberately teased him, Ji Yu’s reaction and emission of highly concentrated pheromone have proven this.

In other words, as long as he wills it, He Zhou can make Ji Yu enter estrus at any time. Ji Yu will have no choice but to ‘love’ this Alpha, and completely be unable to extricate himself.

All the while, Ji Yu will have no ability to resist against such power.

However, He Zhou didn’t want to force people. Even if he felt that the current Ji Yu was very interesting, he hadn’t consider taking advantage of his pheromone to force Ji Yu into submission as a solution.

Such a thing was possible, but not necessary.

Yet now, the current situation was that Ji Yu was actually taking the initiative to send him (HZ) signals that he (JY) was interested in him (HZ). 4

And He Zhou had received that message loud and clear. He felt that there was no longer any need to cover it up with reservations and subtleties, but rather, to just open up and speak directly.

In conclusion: they were an Alpha and an Omega, they were both single, they have an extremely high degree of pheromone matching, and, therefore, it is only normal for them to be together.

It’s probably because Ji Yu had just arrived in this world that he’s a bit reserved. In that case, just let him make the first move.

Exactly like what he’s doing right now.

Ji Yu had absolutely no idea what was going on in He Zhou’s brain.

He twisted his eyebrows, his head full of question marks, “I like you? Why didn’t I know this?”

He Zhou raised his eyebrows and looked at Ji Yu with extraordinary calmness 5 : “Are you aware that you are an Omega?”

Ji Yu nodded: “Of course I’m aware, ah.”

He Zhou continued: “You knew, yet you still posted that kind of post on the forum? Telling an Alpha that you like his scent? Asking for his contact information? Came to his dorm? Collect his stuff?”

He Zhou looked down at Ji Yu, his words were slow, but each word was logical and justified.

Bearing the interrogation, Ji Yu was overwhelmed. For a moment, he almost believed in those words—that he really did like men, specifically He Zhou, and that he had just not realize it before.

“Wait, I can explain all of these.”

Ji Yu was a bit stumped. While still in He Zhou’s embrace, he began moving upward, “You, wait a minute. Let me think about what to say.”

He Zhou complied, “Alright, you think. I’ll wait for your explanations.”

Ji Yu’s big brain quickly turned, rapidly sorting out his thoughts: “First of all, I posted that kind of post on the forum in order to irritate certain people. Many people on the forum, although never mentioning any names, had been hurling abused towards the original Ji Yu for a long time now. I couldn’t watch it anymore, so I made that kind of post.”

He Zhou nodded: “This, I can understand. However, if you only wanted to annoy people, why did you really PM me, and even asking for my stuffs?”

He Zhou pointed under his feet while looking at Ji Yu with shining eyes, “You even came to my dormitory.”

Ji Yu was a bit dumbfounded, “Didn’t you took the initiative to contact me to come take your stuff, ma?”

He Zhou replied to that question with another question, “If you don’t like me, then why did you accept my stuffs? You must be aware that you are an Omega and that I am an Alpha.”

Ji Yu was stunned: “…”

Fuck! How could he refute? 6

Originally, Ji Yu had only wanted to make a casual post, but, as a result, He Zhou managed to find it all on his own.

It just so happens that Little Yu Zhou was sick, so he needed an opportunity to get in contact with He Zhou. Using the perfume as an excuse, Ji Yu agreed to meet up just so he could talk about borrowing some clothes.

From He Zhou’s perspective, such behavior is indeed very misleading.

Ji Yu pressed his eyebrows together and began to realize where the problem was.

It very clear that he and He Zhou had a misunderstanding. He Zhou was not willing to help Little Yu Zhou and didn’t even know that the item Ji Yu wanted to collect was for Little Yu Zhou.

In the end, He Zhou had thought that Ji Yu had came here to confess to him.

…So, what should Ji Yu say now?

The more Ji Yu thought about it, the more tied up his brain becomes. His big brain, capable of solving difficult test questions in minutes, was actually becoming dull and slow when facing with these kinds of things.

“If not, why did you came?”

Ji Yu licked his lips, stood still, and stares at He Zhou.

Should we talk about Little Yu Zhou?

Do you want to slap He Zhou’s face? 7

After mentioning Little Yu Zhou and slapping He Zhou’s face, can I still get the clothes, ma? Would he still be willing to help, ma?

No, I won’t be able to get it.

He’s definitely not going to help.

Ji Yu blinked and said dryly, “I want a piece of your clothing.”

He Zhou was stunned, “Clothes? Why?”

“Uh…” Ji Yu dragged his words and forced his brain to continue working, “It’s just…that I want to do some, uh, research. I want to know if you like someone just because of their pheromone, or whether it’s because you like someone as a person that causes their pheromone to smell good to you.”

Ji Yu’s words flowed endlessly, and, after saying it all in one breath, his whole person relaxed.

I’m so smart, ba!

Praise my super intelligent big brain!

He Zhou looked down for a moment before raising his eyes at Ji Yu, “So you admit that you like me? You’re just not sure if the thing you like is me or my pheromone?”

Ji Yu’s smiling expression froze: “…”

Motherf*cker!

The little schemer inside Ji Yu’s heart thoroughly kneels on the ground.

Ji Yu couldn’t hold back a choke, and sighed deeply.

Even if Little Yu Zhou had to continue taking medicinal pheromone, he must beat this man’s face in: “When did I ever said I liked you? Can you stop telling yourself that—"

Suddenly, there was a shadow of something flying toward his face.

Ji Yu’s words stopped, and he instinctively shuts his eyes. He tried to reach out a hand to block his face, but his reflexes were too slow, and a piece of clothing landed on his head, completely covering his face.

A strong burst of concentrated pheromone entered his nose, and his cheeks became hot.

Ji Yu forcefully yanked down the piece of clothing, only to see that it was the basketball jersey that he had previously been eyeing.

Ji Yu lifted his head and looked at He Zhou with a complicated gaze. 8

He Zhou lifted his chin with an “I understand” expression that made Ji Yu wants to hit somebody.

“Here you go. Take it and go do your research, ba. I saw you staring at it.”

Ji Yu exhale deeply.

It’s fine, ba. Although the entire process was most baffling and also makes him wants to beat people, he still completed his mission.

He just doesn’t want to stay in this dorm any longer.

What he wishes for at this moment was to stay away from the maniac in front of him.

Ji Yu raised the corner of his lips and looked at He Zhou with a dazzling smile, “Thank you very much.”

After saying his thanks, he stopped looking at He Zhou, and, instead, threw the basketball jersey back into the laundry basket. Then, in front of He Zhou’s bewilder gaze, Ji Yu picked up the entire laundry basket, clothes and all.

“Well, I’m going back now. It’s good. Yeah, good. I’ll research, yeah, and try to study it carefully!”

Ji Yu held the laundry basket and ran out of the dormitory without looking back.

He Zhou: “…”

That night, the campus forum of Long Cheng No. 1 High School was very lively. Upon entering, posts titled with “This person” or “That person” filled up the page.

[Title: That person was call out by the teacher, caught cheating!]

[Title: That person and this person went back to the dorms together! Did anyone saw it?]

[Title: Are they back together? Does anyone know?]

[Title: Last time it was in the woods, this time it was in the Alpha dormitory…how exciting, cover face (*/ω*)]

Ji Yu browsed through the forum while sipping on his watermelon juice, and rocking the baby’s cradle.

The laundry basket he took from He Zhou was stashed away in the corner of the bedroom. Ji Yu didn’t know how much clothes were in it, he just took out the basketball jersey. After rinsing it under clean water, he wrung it, and hanged it on a coat rack next to Little Yu Zhou’s crib.

Ji Yu was afraid that the concentration of the pheromone in the jersey would be too strong, and didn’t want to overstimulate Little Yu Zhou. However, the child adapted well. He got excited for a while before promptly falling asleep without any of the previous need for coaxing. Furthermore, instead of constantly waking up, he enjoyed a nice long sleep, peacefully and undisturbed.

Both Ji Yu and the nanny let out a sigh of relief.

Although the execution in getting the clothes turns out to be a mess, in any case, it was finally settled.

Ji Yu turned his gaze back on the forum.

Next, he wants to create a storm for all these crazy people who only dare to talk trash anonymously over the Internet. It’s best to see them all crying bitterly, kneeling and begging for forgiveness.

At this time, the nanny knocked from the outside.

“Come in.”

The nanny walked in with a bottle of milk: “It’s time for his milk.”

Ji Yu looked at the small crib, at the Little Yu Zhou sleeping soundly, and whispers: “Give it to me. I’ll feed him later. He can stay here with me tonight. You can go to sleep first.”

“En, good.”

After the nanny left, Ji Yu turned off his phone and begin studying for another hour before Little Yu Zhou woke up with a yawn.

Having slept well, the child smiled sweetly after waking up, and presses himself against Ji Yu’s face affectionately. Without crying or making trouble, he nestled in Ji Yu’s arms and drank milk obediently.

With the milky scent swirling at the tip of his nose, Ji Yu browsed through the forum once more, this time, with no fluctuation in his heart.

He bowed his head and kissed Little Yu Zhou’s forehead: “Next, prepare to witness your father’s true power.”

It seems he has gotten used to calling himself Little Yu Zhou’s father.

Little Yu Zhou did not understand, and just grab Ji Yu’s finger with a smile.

The gentle lighting in the bedroom makes the little person in his arm appears so cute. A warm feeling rose in Ji Yu’s heart and his expression became more gentle.

After feeding Little Yu Zhou, Ji Yu played with him for an hour before heading to the shower, after which the child fell asleep again.

After washing, Ji Yu was wiping his hair when he came across a message on his phone.

He had bought a dual-SIM phone (a phone with two numbers), and mainly only uses the new number as his contact. The other number belongs to the original Ji Yu’s, and he kept it just in case there were any useful information.

The message was sent to the original Ji Yu’s phone, and was from an unfamiliar number.

[Did you forgot what I said?]

After drying his hair, Ji Yu felt confused. He had a bad feeling.

Ji Yu thought for a while then replied:

[This phone fell into water a few days ago and had to be factory reset. Who are you?]

The other side quickly sent out two words:

[He he] 9

He he?

With the exception of some old people who don’t get Internet slang, no one else would send him just ‘hehe’.

Ji Yu threw his towel aside, and quickly used his finger to press the reply:

[He he he he he he]

=================================================

T/N:

1. 不知今夕何夕 [bù zhī jīn xī hé xī] (lit. unknown night what night): An idiom that had appeared in a previous chapter. After some research, I believe it’s an exclamation, can be both sincere and sarcastic, towards an unexpected turn of event.

2. 清凌凌 [qīng líng líng]: An idiom describing how water is clear and ripples.

3. 好感 [hǎogǎn] (lit. to have favorable impressions): I felt that the connotation of the literal translation undermines the force compelling them so I change it to ‘drawn’.

4. Let’s play more pronoun games. Fun. Hopefully everyone understands.

5. 好整以暇 [hào zhěng yǐ xiá]: Chinese idiom; to be calm and unruffled in the midst of chaos or at a busy time.

6. 我靠 [Wǒ kào] (lit. I rely on): Another way of swearing. A homonym with another word commonly used, both are frequently used to bypass censorship.

7. Not actually using physical violence. Since HZ thought he was cuckold, mentioning the baby is like slapping HZ’s face/pride.

8. 笑非笑 (smile but not smile): phrase that expresses complicated/conflicting emotions; can be sincere or facetious. Half smile; faint smile, etc.

9. In Chinese internet slang, ‘he he’ is used to express disdain and disagreement. It’s a sarcastic way to end a conversion, much less to start one.

Lyrus: Time for another update.

Me (complaining): Author, why are you playing so much pronoun games?

    Author: Stops using pronouns altogether...

    Me:  ∑(O_O;)
